Cleaning day Sacapatepequez, Guatemala

We joined our first international operation that consisted in supporting Fundación Crecer Guatemala in the cleaning of Sacatepequez. Part of the inputs we provided was a team of volunteers, trash bags, t-shirts, and hats for the participants.

Cerron Grande Reservoir Cleaning at Potonico Chalatenango

For a whole month, we cleaned the Cerrón Grande Reservoir. With the help of 3 compactor trucks and 10 boats, we developed a new methodology for efficient removal of waste in the lake, in addition, we had the participation of 4 divers that were able to clean up the underwater in the lake and also many volunteers helping in the cleaning of lake surroundings. We are currently developing a permanent plan to support communities in the clean keeping of the reservoir Cerron Grande.

Clean beaches La Libertad / Corsatur

In support of the management of CORSATUR Environmental Unit, we participated in the cleaning program for the beaches of La Libertad, directly helping in the collection of solid waste extracted in Las Flores Beach, El Tunco Beach, El Zonte Beach, and Punta Roca Beach.

National day cleaning, “Día a Día”

We developed a cleaning day simultaneously at 4 national points: Lake Coatepeque with Fundación Coatepeque; El Zonte Beach working with our friends of Puro Surf; Chanmico Lagoon and Talcualapa River with the participation of Juventud Opico and Tamanique waterfalls with the support of local tour guides.

Cleaning day – El Cocal Beach

It consisted of a cleaning day organized by BANCO ATLANTIDA with the support of NATURAES, ONE TEAM, CORSATUR, and RECICLA 503. We were able to join through the participation of volunteers, donation of garbage bags, and the transportation of collected waste; we were also able to contribute with volunteers training in environmental issues.
